Novak Djokovic has added another record to his name with his US Open 2023 triumph on Sunday after beating Daniil Medvedev in straight sets.

The match was a thrilling display of skill and endurance, with Djokovic emerging victorious to claim his 24th Grand Slam title.

The first set saw Djokovic take an early lead, winning it 6-3. Despite a double fault, his first of the match, Djokovic managed to maintain his composure and secure the set. This win set the tone for the rest of the match, as Djokovic has a remarkable record of 72-1 at the US Open when winning the first set.

In the second set, the competition intensified. Both players were forced to engage in long rallies, pushing their physical limits. However, Djokovic's serve-and-volley tactics proved successful, helping him clinch the set 7-6 (5). Medvedev had a chance to level the match on set point, but unfortunately fell behind two sets instead.

The third set was a decisive moment in the match. Djokovic, one set away from his 24th Grand Slam title, played with determination and precision. Despite Medvedev's best efforts, Djokovic secured the set 6-3, sealing his victory in the US Open 2023 final.
