Terrorist killed in encounter in J&K’s Reasi

A terrorist was killed during an encounter with security forces in Jammu and Kashmir's Reasi district on Monday. One police official was also injured in the gunfight. Acting on a tip-off, the operation was initiated in the area, where two terrorists from the Lashkar-e-Taiba group were said to be hiding. The security forces, comprising local police officials and the Indian Army, have cordoned off the area and the operation is currently underway in the Tuli area of the district.

Bihar BJP State President Samrat Choudhary criticized Udhayanidhi and called for clarification from RJD and JD(U), both part of the INDIA alliance with DMK.

US first lady Jill Biden positive for Covid-19, Biden tests negative

US first lady Jill Biden has tested positive for Covid-19 and is experiencing mild symptoms while President Joe Biden tested negative for the virus, the White House said on Monday. Biden's 72-year-old wife last had Covid in August of last year, while the president, now 80, last tested positive in July 2022. "This evening, the First Lady tested positive for Covid -19," her communications director, Elizabeth Alexander, said in a statement. "She will remain at their home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware."
