SEVENTEEN's leader, S Coups, recently suffered a knee injury due to which he had to undergo surgery. As a result, the idol took a break and went on a hiatus. However, he was seen leaving for Japan to support his group ahead of their upcoming schedule.

S COUPS LEAVES FOR JAPAN

On September 5, S Coups from SEVENTEEN was spotted traveling to Tokyo, Japan despite his injury, to attend his group's concerts. This decision was taken shortly after a conversation on Weverse with Hoshi, fellow member and leader of Performance Team. During the conversation, the group leader expressed how he was missing his group members, and Hoshi suggested that he visit. S Coups concluded the exchange by affirming, "I'm coming! (sic)"

ABOUT HIS INJURY

Choi Seung-cheol had been rushed to the hospital after an injury, which he suffered while filming. The issue was identified as a torn ACL. His injury will prevent him from participating in SEVENTEEN's October comeback.

SEVENTEEN also includes members Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, DK, Mingyu, The8, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino. Another member, Seungkwan, had also taken a brief break due to health issues.
