New Delhi is preparing to shine on the global stage as it welcomes world leaders from September 8 to September 10 for the G20 Summit. During this weekend, leaders from the world's 20 largest economies will gather to discuss critical global, economic, and geopolitical issues. The G20, consisting of 19 countries and the European Union, includes Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Republic of Korea, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Turkey, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Under India's Presidency, the G20 Summit in New Delhi will see the participation of prominent leaders such as US President Joe Biden, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, among others, over the course of the next three days.

US President Joe Biden leaves for Delhi G20 Summit

US President Joe Biden on Friday left for New Delhi to participate in the historic G20 Summit to be chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He will hold bilateral talks with PM Modi on his arrival. The US president is looking forward to a successful G-20 Summit and advancing several of the causes, like climate change, and reforms of international forums like the World Bank and the International Monetary Funds. Joe Biden will follow the Covid guidelines of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) during his visit to India for the G20 Summit, the White House has said.
