Sadhguru to join inauguration ceremony of MotoGP Bharat
The organisers of MotoGP Bharat met Sadhguru on Friday where he confirmed he would ride a couple of laps on the track at the event.
Spiritual leader Sadhguru will be joining the inauguration ceremony of the MotoGP Bharat, scheduled from September 22-24 at the Budh International Circuit (BIC). “Sadhguru also gifted us his signed helmet as a token of good luck for MotoGP. He will be a key attraction for the visitors as his love for bikes in well known. He will be riding a couple of laps for the visitors on a superbike during the inauguration ceremony,” said a spokesperson of Fairstreer Sports, the organisers of MotoGP Bharat.
Sadhguru, the founder of Isha Foundation, spearheading the Save Soil Movement, undertook a 100-day, 30,000 km lone motorcycle journey from London to southern India, covering 27 countries across Europe, Central Asia, the Middle East, and India to create public awareness and garner support for nations to implement soil friendly policies, he added.
“Four wheels for comfort, two wheels for the love of life! Safe riding – Sadhguru”, he signed on the helmet gifted to the organisers.
After nine years, an international racing event is going to take place at the BIC and, for the first time in India, the MotoGP is going to be organised. Sunburn, the famous music festival, will also perform at the opening ceremony of the MotoGP Bharat, where over 200 superbike riders from across the world will participate.
