Pooja Gor says Dulquer Salmaan had a difficult time 'swearing' in Guns & Gulaabs

Pooja Gor recently featured in 'Guns & Gulaabs'. The actress played the role of Madhu Varma in the series, which is streaming on Netflix. Pooja has been winning praise for her performance in the series. The actress was seen as Dulquer Salmaan's wife in Raj and DK's 'Guns & Gulaabs'. After the show premiered on OTT, Pooja shared her experience of working with DQ on this project.

In an exclusive conversation with IndiaToday.in, Pooja also opened up about an amusing anecdote regarding her co-star Dulquer.

POOJA GOR ON CO-STAR DULQUER SALMAAN

Sharing an interesting anecdote from the 'Guns & Gulaabs' set, Pooja Gor told IndiaToday.in, "This is what I heard from the set and I was not present on the set when this incident happened. I think he has mentioned it in one of his interviews also somewhere. He had a very difficult time swearing and saying it the way it was supposed to be said. On set, people were saying that when he was saying it, it did not sound like a swear word. It sounded very cute and quite contrary to what it was supposed to sound like. It is a very nice thing. I mean koi gaali de raha hai but lag nahi raha ki vo gaali de raha hain. It is a really nice achievement in itself. But it was a very amusing thing."

DULQUER IS A NATURAL ACTOR: POOJA GOR

About her experience of working with Dulquer, Pooja added, "Honestly, he is a very pleasant person to talk to. And it is very easy to be around him and have communication with him. He is down-to-earth. He is very kind to everybody around him, especially to his staff and people on set. When we first started speaking, we spoke about a lot of things and then we were rehearsing scenes. We did a bit of rehearsal and reading of sorts and then we realised that we were in sync. It automatically happened. He is a very good and natural actor. It's very effortless when he does act. We kind of fed off each other's energies. It was just flowing. It is easy when you have a good actor who is also a good person. Things become easier."

On the work front, the actress will next be seen in 'Flight Into Fear'.
