'Wore purity rings but asked for nudes': Former actress Alexa Nikolas accuses Joe Jonas

Former Nickelodeon star, Alexa Nikolas, has accused Joe Jonas of soliciting inappropriate pictures during their teenage years.

Alexa Nikolas recently accused Joe Jonas for asking for her nude pictures when they were teenagers. This accusation coincides with the recent news of Jonas's divorce from Sophie Turner, known for her role as Sansa Stark in 'Game of Thrones'.

Nikolas, who featured in 'Zoey 101', claimed in a tweet that Jonas, despite his image of innocence, requested inappropriate images from her. Jonas, along with his brothers Nick and Kevin, famously wore purity rings symbolising their commitment to chastity until marriage.

They later confessed in 2013 to having removed the rings and admitted to having lost their virginity. Jonas has previously acknowledged that he was sexually active before marriage. Nikolas's claim isn't the first insinuation of Jonas's sexual activity despite the purity ring. In 2021, during the 'Jonas Brothers Family Roast', Turner jokingly hinted at her husband's relationships with co-stars, actresses, and supermodels.

Turner and Jonas, who began dating in 2016, got married in 2019. The couple have two daughters. They announced their divorce recently, leaving fans and friends surprised. Speculations around the reasons for the divorce are rife. Others suggest that differing lifestyles and Jonas's lack of support for Turner following the birth of their second child led to the split. Jonas allegedly pressured Turner to attend more industry events against her comfort.
