Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan will be back to engage the audience with his signature baritone voice, who is hosting the show for the 13th time. Fans are all excited about the iconic show returning with a new season on television. Now, with just two more days to go for the show's air date, here are all the details you need.

KBC 14 will premiere on Sony TV on Sunday, August 7 at 9 pm. The reality show will air on Sony TV from Monday to Friday at 9 pm. You can also watch KBC on SonyLiv app. The show, which first began in 2000 on Star Plus, recently completed 22 years of its journey.

Kbc 14 TO COMMEMORATE INDIA'S 75TH YEAR OF INDEPENDENCE

On occasion of the 75th anniversary of Indian Independence,the show will begin on a celebratory note with an event titled Azadi Ke Garv Ka Mahaparv. Hosted by Amitabh Bachchan, the episode will be graced by Kargil War Veteran Major DP Singh, Col Mitali Madhumita, along with Indian sports icons, MC Mary Kom and Sunil Chhetri and Bollywood star Aamir Khan.

Furthermore, the makers have introduced a new padaav at the 15th Question - Dhan Amrit, wherein the contestants are assured of prize money of Rs 75 lakh, to commemorate India's 75 years of Independence. Additionally, the jackpot has been increased to Rs 7.5 crore.

Earlier, viewers engaging through PlayAlong had the chance to be on the hotseat at the end of the show, but this time they will get a chance to grace the hotseat every Friday.
