Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles has launched the Jawa 42 Bobber Black Mirror. This is now the top-of-the-line variant offered by the brand and is part of the 'Factory Custom' lineup of motorcycles. This is priced at Rs 2.25 lakh (ex-showroom).

Speaking on the launch of the Black Mirror, Ashish Singh Joshi, CEO, of Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles said, "With the successful launch of Jawa 42 Bobber last year, we further strengthened our dominance in the Bobber segment. The Bobber stable from our factory custom portfolio has enjoyed an ardent fan following from the riding community in India. The kind of love we received for the 42 Bobber made us push our boundaries in design and engineering to deliver the all-new Jawa 42 Bobber Black Mirror. Bobbers embody the essence of individuality and distinctiveness; they are an emotional purchase, and the new Jawa 42 Bobber Black Mirror is a fine example of why Bobbers are so special. The meticulous attention to detail, combined with the unique design language, makes it a true standout."

The Jawa 42 Bobber Black Mirror features a unique cosmetic kit which includes a chrome tank reminiscent of Jawas of old. It rides on premium diamond-cut alloy wheels. It comes in an exclusive cosmetic kit with black and brushed silver colours, with a majority of parts in black. Customers have the choice to choose between Jasper Red Dual Tone, Moonstone White, Mystic Copper and Black Mirror.

Powering the Jawa 42 Bobber Black Mirror is a 334cc liquid-cooled motor which produces 29.9bhp and 32.7Nm of torque. This is mated to a 6-speed transmission which is equipped with an assist and slipper clutch for smooth shifts. This features a 38mm throttle body, increased from the earlier 33mm. The idling rpm has been decreased from 1,500rpm to 1,350rpm which allows for a more refined feel. The rear monoshock has been tuned to offer better damping for a more comfortable ride.
