Italy PM Giorgia Meloni adds a traditional twist to her outfit at G20 Dinner

Prime Minister of Italy Giorgia Meloni made an ethnic sartorial statement as she arrived at the G20 Dinner hosted by President Droupadi Murmu at the Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi on September 9.

Meloni, known for her immaculate power-exuding sartorial style, wore a black kurta set with a traditional mauve draped around her shoulder. The dupatta drape was adorned with a golden border. She opted for a sleeveless plain black kurta and teamed it with flared bottoms.

A bejewelled black clutch, a dazzling bangle and a ring were her styling picks to complete the G20 dinner look. Meloni also rocked a striking silver knotted necklace, which she had also sported with her black separates upon her arrival in New Delhi on September 8.

Apart from Giorgia Meloni, Japan Prime Minister Fumio Kishida’s wife Yuko Kishida also paid tribute to Indian culture with her sartorial choice for the G20 Dinner. Yuko Kishida turned up wearing a traditional green saree with a gleaming golden border, and a magenta blouse for dinner.

The world leaders and delegates were served unique Indian delicacies at the official G20 gala dinner. They were treated to a unique dining experience, with meals served on silver and gold-plated utensils, showcasing glimpses of India's rich culture and heritage.
