Indonesian President Joko Widodo’s family visited Agra for a short trip on September 9 soon after their arrival in India for the mega G20 summit in New Delhi. Widodo's son Kaesang Pangarep and daughter-in-law Erina Gudono visited the Taj Mahal and posed for pictures in front of the monument along with their team.

Kaesang Pangarep is an Indonesian entrepreneur and YouTuber. He is the third and youngest child of Joko Widodo. Kaesang married Indonesian model Erina Gudono in Yogyakarta in December 2022.

Upon his arrival in India on September 8 to attend the G20 Summit, Joko Widodo was received by Minister of State Shantanu Thakur at the airport. He was welcomed by a group of dancers who performed a classical folk dance in his honour.

US President Joe Biden, UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, Brazil President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, Japan Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and several other top leaders were among those welcomed by PM Modi at the G20 Summit.

The G20, or the Group of Twenty, comprises 19 countries-- Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Republic of Korea, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Turkey, United Kingdom, the United States-- and the European Union.
