Indian Air Force Wing Commander displays G20 flag at height of 10,000 feet

Wing Commander Gajender from the Indian Air Force displayed the G20 flag at a height of 10,000 feet above the ground on Thursday, a day ahead of the G20 Summit to be hosted in New Delhi. The national capital is all ramped up to host the high profile summit. Top heads of state from the world’s wealthiest countries will converge in New Delhi to attend the G20 Leaders’ Summit. Over two days, the nation’s capital will host US President Joe Biden, Britain's Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, among others. The event will be hosted at the Bharat Mandapam Convention Centre on September 9 and 10.

DMK's remarks on 'Sanatana' highly offensive, punishable: Activist Rahul Easwar

As the controversy around statements on Sanatana Dharma made by DMK leaders Udhayanidhi Stalin and later A Raja continue to trigger reactions, Kerala-based social activist Rahul Easwar said that the comments made by these leaders are extremely offensive and call for strict action. Speaking exclusively to India Today, Easwar said using words like eradication, and A Raja doubling it by comparing it with Dengue and leprosy is not less than hate speech. "I hope the police will file a case and the courts will take note of these things. It is very unfortunate and provocative. I hope there will be a case against both Udhayanidhi and A Raja," he said.
