From new Tata Nexon to Hyundai i20 facelift, watch all important updates of the week from auto space

The internal combustion engine-powered new Tata Nexon and the new Tata Nexon.ev were unveiled this week. Both will be launched on September 14.

The popularity of the Tata Nexon can be gauged from the fact that it was the largest-selling SUV in India during the previous two fiscals. It garnered wholesales of 1,72,139 units in FY23 and 1,24,130 units in FY22.

Hyundai Motor India launched the new i20 in the price range of Rs 6.99 lakh to Rs 11.16 lakh (ex-showroom). The carmaker also introduced ADAS or Smartsense in the Venue.

MG Motor India launched the Astor Blackstorm limited edition, priced between Rs 14.48 lakh and Rs 15.77 lakh (ex-showroom).

While Volvo Car India launched its second electric SUV, the C40 Recharge, at an introductory price of Rs 61.25 lakh (ex-showroom), BMW India introduced the 2 Series Gran Coupe M Performance Edition at Rs 46 lakh (ex-showroom).

As part of Ashok Leyland's 75th-anniversary celebrations, the company's subsidiary, Switch Mobility, unveiled the IeV series of electric models (IeV 3 and IeV 4) in the light commercial vehicle category.

Mahindra Group-owned Swaraj Tractors launched the new XM, XT and FE range of tractors in the 40hp to 50hp category, priced between Rs 6.9 lakh and Rs 9.95 lakh (ex-showroom).

Indian G20 presidency has walked the talk: Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman
