Top Delhi Police official leads 45-bike patrol ahead of G20 Summit

The police have been carrying out extensive patrolling in sensitive areas along with places of worship in Delhi ahead of the G20 Summit.

With days left for the G20 Summit to commence, Delhi Police has intensified patrolling in sensitive areas across the national capital.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (North) Sagar Singh Kalsi led the patrol on a bike, accompanied by approximately 45 police personnel.

The police have tightened security in sensitive areas including Jahangirpuri, Red Fort, Delhi University area, Adarsh Nagar, Model Town, and regions along the Outer Ring Road.

In addition to these, the police have also enhanced patrolling around temples, mosques, gurdwaras, and churches.

The G20 Summit will be held in New Delhi on September 9 and 10.

The leaders of the G20 forum, including US President Joe Biden, Britain's Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will start arriving in Delhi from September 8.
