BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe M Performance Edition launched, priced at Rs 46 lakh

BMW Group India has launched the 2 Series Gran Coupe 220i M Performance Edition. This is priced at Rs 46 lakh (ex-showroom), which makes it Rs 50,000 more compared to the 220i M Sport Pro variant. This limited edition variant is exclusively available at BMW Online shop.

The BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe M Performance Edition offers an irresistible driving force, inviting you to step out, stand out and do things your own way - in more ways than one."

The BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe M Performance is offered exclusively in Black Sapphire metallic paintwork, while the interior comes in Sensatec Oyster black. The M Performance front kidney grille is finished in Cerium Grey. The fog lamp inserts and ORVMs too come finished in Cerium Grey. M Performance stickers have been added to the sides. The rest of the exterior is the same, it features full LED headlamps and taillamps as well as LED DRLs.

The cabin features M Performance Alcantara Gear Selector, M Performance Door Pin and M Performance Door projector. The rest of the cabin is as before. It features a driver-focused layout with BMW Sport Seats, a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, dual-zone climate control, cruise control, two 10.25-inch displays - one for the driver and one for the infotainment.

Powering the BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe M Performance Edition is the same 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged engine which pushes out 176bhp and 280Nm of torque. This is paired to a 7-speed Steptronic Sport automatic transmission. The car can accelerate from 0 to 100kmph in just 7.1 seconds. Driver aids like Launch Control and three driving modes are also on offer.

The safety suite of the 2 Series M Performance Edition boasts of Attentiveness Assistance, ABS with Brake Assist, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) including Dynamic Traction Control (DTC), Cornering Brake Control (CBC), electric parking brake with auto hold, side-impact protection, electronic vehicle immobilizer and crash sensors and ISOFIX child seat mounts.
