On the same day, she wowed everyone by making a series of impressive sartorial choices. During her visit to the British Council India, Akshata wore a printed co-ord set from the Drawn label. While the outfit exuded a modern charm, its unmistakable Indian touch stemmed from Drawn, a homegrown Indian label founded by Rhea Bhattacharya.

She attended a millet exhibition at the Indian Agricultural Research Institute in Delhi dressed in a lilac marble-print dress from the London-based label Manimekala. It was noteworthy that this label, too, had a connection to India, with its founder and designer, Manimekala Fuller, being of half-British and half-Indian heritage.
